Celebrity Excursions - Timing?

I'm thinking of booking two excursions for the same day through Celebrity.

One starts in the morning and ends at 11:30 (train ride) the second starts at 12:30 (Alaska Helicopter)

I know Celebrity guarantees I'll make it back to the ship, but is there any similar guarantee I'll make the second excursion if for whatever reason the first excursion is delayed? I'd hope for a refund for the second excursion.

The Heli ride is expensive and I'm not sure if it's ok booking something before it with less than an hour padding if a delay means I'll lose out on $$$

Although I have never had an excursion run late, one hour does seen tight. Especially if you are, when you get your ticket, requested to be at the meeting point fifteen minutes early which is often the case. If I was you I would want written confirmation of a refund if you did not make it back from your first trip on time.

Probably when you get on board shore excursions will assure you it is a regular occurrence and you will have no problem....I think I would still want something in writing.

You should be okay since those trains are booked to do afternoon excursions also, we did a morning and afternoon in Alaska and were back in plenty of time.

You should be ok....but IF you decide to choose between the two excursions, I recommend you do the helicopter tour which hopefully includes landing on the glacier at a dog camp and riding a real dog sled in the snow.
