Cruise based Mother's Day Gift?

Ok, so mum and I are going on a cruise in July and I want to get her a mother's day gift that will get her even more excited for this! If it had been on another cruise line I would have bought her a drinks package but as it's on Carnival that is not an option. Does anyone have another suggestion of what I can do?

Dinner in a speciality restaurant fi you don't do that usuallay. A really indulgent shore excursion she can look forward to. spa treatment?

As an addendum to that one year I bougth my mother a massage package on an island in a beach hut overlooking the sea. she never would have done this for hereself. She loved it.

I vote for a spa treatment since that's something you can order before the cruise, and it's something specifically for her.

 

However if you think the spa treatments onboard are too expensive why not book her a facial or massage or pedi/mani at a local beautician for the day before you board. Then she will be feeling fabulous on boarding day.

 

P.S. I see you're in Sydney. If she lives anywhere near Lane Cove I could recommend a great beautician whose prices are very reasonable. Her facials are fabulous. :)

Agree. I'd go for the pre-cruise treatment. Whilst the cruise day spa is lovely. It's expensive and they pressure you to purchase their products.

So far I'm loving the idea of a pre-cruise beauty treatment. She is super stressed at work and needs some pamper time. I also like the idea of some obc.
