Donna_In_India Posted May 8, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 8, 2015 Having a tough time finding decent fares for August into FLL. How much would a shuttle/taxi be from MIA to Port Everglades? Looks like the ride is about a half an hour?

TripleU Posted May 8, 2015 #3 Share Posted May 8, 2015 Use Jiffy Jeff. Excellent service. I think it was $17pp when we went last August.
cb at sea Posted May 8, 2015 #4 Share Posted May 8, 2015 (edited) This is one trip where a cab does NOT make sense!! Yes.. a private shuttle is the way to go. Edited May 8, 2015 by cb at sea

Rare JessyCruises Posted May 9, 2015 #6 Share Posted May 9, 2015 We are renting a car there and back. It's cheaper for us than a shutyle
JohninDC Posted May 9, 2015 #7 Share Posted May 9, 2015 Flying in the day of the cruise? Figure on an hour plus for the trip and a taxi, on the meter, will run $75-80 - great option if there are 3-4 travelling together. If there are just two of you travelling the cruise line transfer bus for about $30 each is an option. Many of the popular shuttles are not licensed for the MIA airport - check with Go Airport, Super Shuttle and American Shuttle; I would also reach out to Larry's Limos (often suggested for Miami service) Unless you are arriving at least one day early I would not bother with a one-way car rental; if you are being a smart cruiser and are flying in early a one-way rental makes a lot of sense and will likely be cheaper than a cab/shuttle/transfer bus/limo. :)
