The upgrade fairy has visited us.

I just received an email that we have been upgraded for our British Isles cruise July 8th from an inside IB to an obstructed balcony BY E701. Inside to an obstructed balcony is AWESOME, but I'm not so sure we'd love the upgrade. 12 days is a long time to be in a noisy location. Does anyone know if there would be lots of noise from the deck below? It appears as though we are above a door for the promenade deck. There was a post I read regarding the door slamming. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just looked at the deck plan and it seems that you are above the library on . I would think that should be fine. We were on Regal this March also on Emerald deck in E323 we heard no noise. Of course our cabin was in a different location than yours. But we heard nothing from the deck below.

Thanks for your responses. The only "noise" I was concerned about was a door slamming. I read post regarding room E702, which said that there was a door that people use to go out on the promenade below, and when windy, the door slams.
