Post disembarkation Vancouver query

We are on our first cruise so need help from more experienced cruisers!

We are booked on a round trip Alaskan trip from Vancouver on infinity next year. Following this we are hiring a motorbike for 11 days to tour the a Rockies.

How long does disembarkation take arriving Vancouver 7am? Is it realistic to pick up the bike that morning and ride to Kamloops?

We will have stayed in Vancouver pre cruise and post bike tour. We therefore don't want to stay the night in Vancouver disembarkation night if possible.

Thanks in advance

Sue

disembarkation is relatively quick....

  • 7am dock
  • 7:30am first walk offs, 8am you should be ready to go
  • otherwise sleep in, have breakfast and then leave around 10am at the latest

Post-cruise bike tour? I assume you have a support vehicle with all that luggage planned.

  • Vancouver to Kamloops is about 4hrs. Longer with breaks.
  • Vancouver to Banff is about 9hrs. Likely longer with breaks and food stops.

You should be off eh ship no later than 9:00 - 9:30. I have no idea how far it is to Kamloops, but if it is not too far it should be no problem.
