Copper River

If anyone has taken the Princess Alaska tour that includes Copper River Lodge and in particular the Catamarn to Whittier, I would appreciate any info you could provide. We are looking at August 2016. Could not find anything on Alaska boards. Thanks

We stayed at the Copper River Princess Lodge and loved it! The scenery was beautiful (you can even see part of the pipeline), the lodge was clean, and the food was amaaaaaaaazing! I highly recommend it!

The big blue canoes are a wonderful way to travel the coastal wTers of AK. Almost all of them have a naturalist on board, snacks or food...go to Alaska Marine Ferry and look for the ferry that goes there. Most stop at Valdez also before Whittier.....do it...it is amazing....
