How do you guys get on if the weather is a bit poor? We are flying to Venice tomorrow and it's not looking good!! :(

I have packed a couple of cardigans and a waterproof but other than that I have only shorts and t-shirts!

We've been to many of the ports you are doing and have got soaked in August .... Rome, Venice, Sorrento and Florence. When they have rain, boy does it rain. Take a brolly and as someone has said jeans and light weight trousers just incase. Yes it is the Med but it isnt guaranteed and not like going to somewhere like Greece in Summer. Anyway have a lovely time .... we got offf oceana 5 weeks ago and had had an amazing time. One tip .... if you are on freedom dining ask for table 110........ certainly the best area and service ;-)

We did have an amazing time (despite the rain). We were in the Adriatic for dining - had a lovely table with lovely people. :)

Glad you had a great time --- despite the weather ! Hope you were still able to make some use of those t-shirts and shorts :)

The first time we went to Venice is threw it down but we absolutely adored it. We always take foldaway raincoats. It's still quite early and weather is changeable.

The first time we went it threw it down too --- in came all of the postcard and gift shop stands and out came the umbrellas and plastic ponchos stands. There were wooden planks to walk on into the churches and restaurants in St Mark's Square as there was a lot of water there.....

And that was mid August !
