Anyone know when the itineraries out of LA for the itineraries just released today will be avaialble?? Here i was waiting until today to book, only to find out LA shows not available check back later ---- anyone in the know?? thanks

Its already opened, and a lot of it is gone. Online I don't see prices, but my TZ booked it for me over an hour ago. At that time she said almost all the inside cabins were gone. Not that I wanted one. I figure YOLO, so I got a Suite. Yes!

It appears that the website is lagging behind. A friend called and was able to book a cruise from LA (19-day Panama Canal) that is still showing as unavailable on the website.

I can't see Panama canal cruises going down very soon. With the new canal the cruise lines have been told that costs are going to go up on a per berth .

Prices for Ft Lauderdale to Vancouver BC in April 2017 is up about $1000 per person compared to 2016 for the same cruise.

Our TA able to book us a balcony cabin on RT PANAMA Canal trip on Caribe deck first thing this morning. Fare is about $2,500 per person or about $132 per day. Looks like good price. Did this trip in 2008 and loved it!

Did you book the 19 day Panama Canal R/T from Los Angeles? If you did, you got a super deal on a balcony for $2,500 pp. I see balcony's being priced starting at $3299 on the Princess website.

I was looking for a short west coast/Baja one for fall 2016 to fill in between Hawaii and Alaska.

 

The one I wanted, 2 days in Cabo is only offered once in Dec.

What happened to the ones we took last year. Please, I don't want to go back to CCL for the short cruises. I even looked at NCL, since the one we took in March was awesome. Nothing. :(

We really don't know if that price included the port charges and taxes. If not that could add another $390 to the price. And what location?

When I checked last night the price including taxes and port fees on the Princess website began at $2700 for an inside and $4300 for a minisuite.

Yep and you can figure a TA will discount maybe $200 or $300 off of that price more or less depending on what OBC they are giving.

Yes and remember that it depends on the amount of the cruise. Certainly not going to discount that much on a 7 day but if you are looking at a 19 day in a mini suite then yes.

Yes, I was surprised we received such a good price. I looked later in the day and saw that this cabin category was going for over $3,300. Our TA booked within a hour of the booking opened. Not sure how we got it for such a great price, but very happy.

It doesn't include the port charges or taxes, but it now on Princess our category for a balcony is going for about $3,300 without port charges and taxes.

I thought that also, but then I called Princess back to see why they were now showing the prices higher than what I was locked in for & she said we had a casino promotion pricing.

Has anyone ever heard of this??????, we never received a letter the Princess rep said we should have received regarding this.

I recently received an email about casino promotion pricing. It is up to 25% for Alaska, Japan, and Europe cruises and up to 35% for Caribbean, Mexico and other cruises. A balcony savings is 25% for the Panama Canal cruises. The discount for cruises from 3 to 20 days. I didn't realize it was for cruises in 2016. The email was silent about time frames. I also heard that it was only so many cabins per cruises. and you have to book the cruise this year, but the email didn't give many particulars. I heard that Princess knows when to apply the discount so I guess they gave that price to my TA and that it why I have such a great discount.

Thanks Grace for all the info on the casino promotion discount. I will need to check out other potential cruises and see if discount will be applicable.
