Last minute cruise/last minute question

Hi,

Booked yesterday on the Veendam departing from Quebec tomorow fisrt time doing a booking so close to departure time. Still did not get the notification for boarding pass.

What will happen if i get to the pier without it?

Does someone know at what time is embarcation from Quebec citiy?

It usually takes 48 hours for HAL to set up your booking on their site.

Your cruise, the Veendam overnights in Quebec City. You will actually depart on May 24 at 4 PM.

Embarkation -- check in is usually at 11 and people embark the ship around 11:30 -- on the 23rd.

I booked late (I was on the Veeendam 9-16 May). Within one day of booking, I registered and created a HAL account. They did give me a confirmation number on booking so I could go into "check in" and when I went in there, my baggage tags were there to print (which told me which cabin # I had). A couple of hours later, it would let me print my boarding pass.

 

Enjoy your cruise - I absolutely LOVED the Veendam and the crew was EXCELLENT.

But if it takes 48h for them to set up the booking. With my proof of reservation (booking number) and payment will it be ok to board.

If all else fails, just show up with your booking number, luggage tags and the check-in desk will handle everything.

My boarding passes were only a few hours after the luggage tags. You are close....just Keep checking :) Bon voyage :)

Bring a print out of your confirmation which should show paid in full.

 

You might need to present that in order to enter the terminal building.

I have only been asked to show boarding pass once in a great many cruises. They almost never look at it.

You can get luggage tags from stevedore when you arrive at the terminal.
