HMC: Why a Cabana?

Is there a map somewhere of the cabanas? We book one for our April cruise and I know we don't pick the # until we board but I'm wondering which one is best for us. Reading one of the earlier posts I'm thinking #11

Yes, use the search engine, it should pop right up. :)

Yep, the "Search" feature will get you there. Or just look for one of the several very large threads on HMC. They have maps, pics, videos, all sorts of info.

I booked a cabana, so I am guessing from #10 are the best ones to choose since they are away from all the other people. I have a couple of questions.

There is a tram that will take us and pick us up instead of walking? How was the water? I have read many mixed reviews about sea urchins, jellyfish and coral being prevalent there. Should we have water shoes? And lastly, which is your favorite cabana #?

Well, if "best" is being away from people, then 10 and higher is better, but if being close to things is "best", then you might want a lower number. Bare in mind the last restroom is behind #9.

We have been there 8 times, 6 in cabanas. We tend to choose in the 8 to 10 area...more 10ish since the Villas were built.

There is some loose coral. Never seen nor has issues with any sea creatures or coral. Have swam every time, several times each visit without water shoes.

Thanks a bunch for responding! Yes, "best" meaning away from the people and noise. ha ha I would like to not have people in front of the cabana to make it more of a secluded place for us. I don't mind the people on either side of us just not in front. Is that asking too much? LOL! ;)
