Help: Low and Aft or middle and deck 7?

I am booking a July cruise and have limited room choices. I am a bit of a nervous Nellie and usually book low and middle for the least motion. My choices are only: aft and deck 2 or mid- ship and deck 7. What are people's thoughts on the best choice and the least movement? Higher but mid or lower but aft? (I know it's a cruise, depends on the weather etc. but if more experienced cruisers have found one is better, it would relieve some anxiety on my part so I can enjoy my cruise more!)

It's the carnival sunshine, if that makes a difference.

Thanks!

I would take the mid-ship deck 7. If you think of the ship as a large teeter-totter the ends will move more up and down than the mid-ship area will. Also, you could experience more vibration being low in the aft.

7291 will be my favorite-

no across the hall neighbors. easy access to the stair/elevator

up two decks for food and pool

down two decks for entertainment

room service area is located around 7249 so be careful booking that side
