some advise please

we are thinking of taking the anthem next may but i heard the seas are rough. we were are the oasis 3 times and felt very little movement. my fear is the seas will be to rough and i will get sick. would love to go but i fear the out come advise from you will be helpful thanks. judy

The seas have nothing to do with the ship, really...Anthem and Oasis are about the same size, so the "ride" will be the same.

 

You cannot predict how rough a sailing might be. Even the largest ship can "rock and roll" if the seas want it to! However, in moderate seas, a larger ship experiences less motion than a 25 ft. fishing boat would!

 

You've sailed 3 times....no reason the 4th time will bother you!!!

I have sailed 3 times in May and have never had a problem with rough seas. Go for it :)

you could have had rough seas on any of your past cruises. Month has nothing to do with it

I think there's a better chance of rough seas on a cruise leaving from New Jersey, than one leaving from MIA/FLL. If you're prone to sea sickness, then you should be prepared. (I am and use the patch) I've cruised from all the above ports and not had any issues...yet.
