We'll be spending the 4th of July, our Independence Day, on board the Emerald Princess. One of the international posters asked if Princess does anything to celebrate? Any ideas of what they might do? Probably no fireworks;)

You didn't say where your cruise was going. If it was say around the Baltic I would hardly expect it would do much about 4th July. Let's face it the whole world does not revolve around America's Independence Day. Unless I was sailing in Australian waters on 26th January I would hardly expect too much about celebration of Australia Day on board a cruise ship.:)

A Baltic cruise is ecactly where we were for not only July 4 but July 1 Canada Day last year on Ocean Princess. Nothing big but some decorations, big decorated cakes at the entrance to restaurants etc.

It is more the numbers of passengers from the various countries than where in the world you are cruising.
