Forward v. Aft Movement

Recommended Posts

I'm pretty familiar with the motion you tend to get at the forward part of the ship. It's typically one of my favorite things about a cruise.

That said, I keep seeing people being all about aft cabins because of the balconies. What is the movement there typically? Is it the same as at the forward section or different? And what are the vibrations I sometimes read about?

(I'm talking Radiance class if that makes a difference.)

When I was on Serenade a few months back I do not recall feeling any vibration and we all the way aft on port side.

Strangely, I felt more motion in the casino during the week than I did in my cabin.
