Skagway bus up which side

I've read that if you're taking the train to White Pass you should sit on the left side (or the right on the way down). Does that mean that if you're taking the bus up you should also sit on the left side?

The bus rides on the other side of the canyon. Sit on the right side.

Another vote for right side on the bus ride up. Look for a seat on the right side on the train down... the white pass trail is below the window on the right side going down.

 

The other side has a rock face against the bus and train windows.
