Formal Night?

Yes, but nothing to worry about as Carnival is fairly INformal even for their "elegant" night.

IF you tell folks what cruise you are considering they will tell you when the elegant night will be held.

Men only need to wear slacks and a shirt(with a collar).

Women just a nice little dress or pants with a nice top is just fine. Some folks get much more dressed up but it is not required.
