Segway tour

I saw that Royal has just added a Segway tour in Cozumel. We missed out on the Segway in San Juan on our last cruise. Everybody who did it loved it. Has anyone done this tour?

I have done Segway tours, just not at COZ. They are really fun, but the fun is in the machine, not is what you are seeing. The question to ask yourself is do you want to ride the Segway or do you want to see what the tour has to show you. If you just want to ride a Segway then by all means go for it, but if you want to see the sites then skip the Segway and walk.

I'd be curious to know where the Segway tour would go in Cozumel. Just around the plaza down town? Maybe along the esplanade be Punta Langosta and the ferry dock or resorts north? If so, I can see that coming from RCCL as they usually dock at PL. But others docking a cruise ports south, there's just too much distance to beaches and Rafael Melgar is too narrow into town.

I'm also really curious. We've spent a lot of time in Cozumel, and unless Segways are good off-road vehicles, I can't think of many smooth sidewalks with room for them. Just the seawall along the main road, but even it can get crowded with people.
