New Casino Offers

Just wanted to give a head's up to everyone that Carnival posted new casino offers today. You might want to check your offers online if you are interested or have anything booked you could possibly price match to. I got 2 new different casino offers and both must be booked by August 18th. The cheapest of the offers starts at $99 per person. One of the offers has a few dates through November 8th and the other is much larger with many ships and sail dates available through April 30, 2016. Both of my new offers come with casino cash which you have to call and ask about because the casino cash amount never shows online. I was able to grab a price drop on one cruise I already had under deposit and then booked another one.

And neither of these 2 new casino offers are premier casino offers. The last round of premier casino offers doesn't expire until July 7th, so I would expect it be a little while before the next round of premier casino offers come out.

Happy cruise hunting!

Where do you find out if you have any offers.

Log onto Carnival website

Either at the bottom of the page you will see VIFP CLUB OFFERS

or

Go to MY VIFP drop down, and select MY OFFERS on the Left

Be sure to enter your VIFP# to check out the specific offers that are assigned to you. If you have a spouse or family member, enter their's to check and click submit. OFFERS such as CASINO and Player's club are specific to individual VIFP#'s

Be sure to log in on Carnival's website. When you search cruises also be sure to enter your VIFP number when you search. Good luck!

Odd ... got a call from PVP today and I told her we were taking a pause given that we have two future cruises booked on another line. I gamble much harder than DW, but nothing in my VIP offers. I checked DW's account and she has some nice casino rate offers ... now thinking about squeezing another cruise in. I just wish that airfares would yo down!

What's weird is I got an email about having a casino offer but when I log on and check out my offers, nothing there except Past Guest.

No big deal, can't cruise again for another year with our Baltic already booked but it is fun to see what offers come up.

Frustrated because I never get these. On the Legend in May, my sister had fewer points on her card than I did, yet she was sent a cookie plate from the casino. And a friend who was on that cruise with us (it was his first cruise) also had fewer points than me and he has the new casino offers today.

Well another stupid question but what is VIFP #. Sorry haven't cruised in a while

If you've ever sailed on Carnival you should already have a VIFP number. You enter that on Carnival's website to see your offers. It should show on the emails or snail mail you get from Carnival or you can call them and ask for the number. At the top of Carnival's home page click on "Your Cruise Deals" and then on "VIFP Club Members Only Offers," and I suggest you also log in on the website. I have found free cruise offers after logging in and searching for a cruise using the search feature, but did not actually see that offer under "Your Cruise Deals." So I recommend you do both when checking for your targeted offers. In my experience, these targeted offers show online 2 to 3 weeks before I receive snail mail or email telling me about the offers. Sometimes by then some ships, sail dates, and cabins are already gone. So it can be beneficial to check for your offers frequently. I usually check mine online every morning. If you have a free cruise offer, it will show as $50 or $100 depending on cruise length when you use the search feature. That is the amount of onboard credit you get back after booking that particular offer. So in other words, you pay a small amount up front when you book but you get it back in onboard credit resulting in a "free" cruise. Some people who post here say their PVP will let them know when they have these targeted offers, but mine never does. I can't even remember the last time I received the VIFP newsletter in email even though my email address on file with Carnival is current. I think some PVPs are better than others so you can't always depend on them to notify you of your targeted offers.

Hope that helps.

There is a fairly wide selection of itineraries and dates available right now. I did have a PVP (didn't know I had one) call and leave me a message about my "complimentary" cruise. I nearly ignored it as a scam- and then logged in and looked at the website.

If the dates had worked for me I would have loved to take the 8 day eastern or southern route- but did choose a 7 day at the end of January.

I don't show anything - I'm hoping maybe it's because I'm booked on the Conquest leaving in 4 days on the Pack & Play rate, and I'll get more of these offers later in the year.

The bad thing is after getting these great deals, the regular prices seem so high!!

Nothing.

My past two cruises have been Premier offers and I'm booked on another one on 11/28 (with Splendor to Bermuda on a "regular" rate).

I used to get an occasional casino rate but haven't in ages. I've never received a pack-n-play offer.

And my Premier offers are "only" reduced cabin price (not by much) with $300 casino cash.

Still, I'll take those!

There is just no rhyme or reason to why some people get Carnival offers and some don't.

I spend a lot of time and money in the casino... Hubby gets a casino offer. It was so good we cancelled our first ncl cruise and booked the splendor. The two of us are going for less than one fare on ncl!

I have no offers... and that's after attending a Premiere cruise. Guess it's truly random :)

They say to watch for invitations in August if you cruise on a Premiere one. They will be having an ultra casino cruise sometime before year end. If you relieve the email I highly suggest responding ASAP. The spots are more limited than the premiere cruises. So I have heard.good luck hope you get some soon.

I just love happy endings! Pay it forward! :-)

You can have a lot of fun with that extra $1,100. Have a great cruise.

P.S. I hope your casino offer came with some casino cash too. Be sure and ask about that if you didn't already.

And let me add my thanks as well. I was able to grab a lido balcony on the Glory, Miami to San Juan repositioning cruise (10 nights) for under $1100. Also confirmed airfare with FF points and that cash cost was $22.40. Very excited and haven't even told hubby yet!
