Catching a Cab Post Cruise in Tampa

How long is the wait to get a cab that's a van after the cruise in Tampa? There will be 5 of us, including 2 booster seats, plus luggage.

 

Trying to figure out if it is worth it to book shuttle service for $50, which would include a 15 min wait for the shuttle to come once we call them.

 

We are going to the Marriott Tampa airport, and spending the night there before an early morning flight.

I doubt you'd wait 15 min

 

but it is a crap shoot

 

there will be many taxi stacked up but how many vans, and how many in front of you that want one?

Every time we have cruised from Tampa (including twice I the last 20 months) we have been able to easily grab a van-cab in the line of taxis waiting outside the port. Besides avoiding the wait you'll save $$ - cab fare to TPA is only abut $25+tip :cool:
