onboard credit to pay for auomatic tipping?

Greetings,

I just found out that we have 140.00 of on board credit. Can we use this to pay for the automatic tipping?

I remember being on another cruise, I think it was NCL and they would not let you use it for that purpose.

If you have not prepaid your tips yet, do not. The auto tips will be added to your sign and sail account on the second day (Most cases). Then if you don't use the OBC for anything else, it will take care of the tips. I don't see why not. I did have OBC once, but my total bill was about $600-$700 so don't know exactly what the OBC went toward - the tips or the other stuff!

Yes you can. We do it all the time. :)

There's an order to how your account is paid off onboard---

OBC is used up first on your account,

then cash (if using),

then your card.

The OBC will automatically be used to pay your tips on the 2nd day of the cruise.

Your OBC can be used for anything you like onboard.
