While I am truly happy for OP but I wonder if Carnival has any idea how insulting to others that are loyal customers and don’t get offers. Hubby and I first sailed Carnival in 2011. Since that time we have sailed 10 times. Twice we have covered the cost for family cruise one of which was Alaska. So in less than 4 years we have paid for 12 balcony rooms and 3 insides. I do get premier casino offers but that is thru players club not Carnival. I haven’t even got an offer for an upgrade. I think it might be time to explore other options as I am not seeing much reason to remain loyal to Carnival.

It must be nice to be so elite that one can turn down a free cruise based on the cabin category. I bet you return holiday gifts if they didn't come from the "right" store.

Congrats to you both, and enjoy your Anniversary cruise! Like you, I would not care what kind of cabin it was, because you will be eating the same foods, enjoying the same Lido deck, seeing the same shows, clubs, islands, etc. they could throw me in a linen closet if it were free! :D my cabin never affected my ability to have a great time. I love it, and I'm so happy for you both.

For a free cruise! I almost died, I still cant believe it. My PVP said please dont pass out on me you gotta breathe lol. All we have to do is pay $50 per person for deposit which we get back as onboard credit and pay the taxes/port fees. Life couldnt be any sweeter today.

Congratulations OP, a great deal. Have a wonderful time. I'm getting ready to take my 19th cruise with Carnival, in Aug. I've never gotten any kind of offer "free" or reduced. I also spend time in the casino, 2 or 3 hrs on sea days, and every night. NADA from the casino as well.

Guess Carnival knows they've got me hooked, so they don't have to send me anything to keep me sailing. Bummer

It's on the Conquest out of Ft. Lauderdale, September 21. Which is also our anniversary!!! Im just so ecstatic. Its so weird because we normally sail out of NOLA because its closer but we had been talking about maybe sailing out of FL this time to do something different for our anniversary. So when he told me it only applies to select cruises and that was one of them I could choose from, Iwas just in shock. He said they only do free inside cabins, but he would put us on the Lido deck.

 

I know we normally do balconies if possible, but for a free cruise I would sleep in the meat freezer. Im just happy to be on the ship!

 

I'm with you anytime I am on a ship is just fine with me.

When we used to go to Vegas all the time we got free rooms, etc. I would tell people, not free, we paid for these rooms last year...LOL Never the less, congrats!!!

Its funny I remember on our cruise back in April sitting at a poker table when the pit boss brought another gentleman a card with a free cruise offer. We were all excited for him but also wondering what kind of money we had to spend to get an offer like that. Guess I mustve somehow met their goal of money lost lol!

Thanks! it really is just so weird. I asked my PVP and he said everyday they do get a random list of people to call. He said that they will leave a message when they call but that he cant promise the offer will still be available when you call back, I guess they must move on to next person. But as long as the offer lasts it will show up online in your offers as well. We are so excited!

Yes your points in the casino CAN cause you to get a free cruise. I've got a free cruise from my casino play on Carnival Magic coming up in October on the Breeze! Can't wait and so very grateful to Carnival's casino!
