Shirt Pressing

Recommended Posts

Can you get a shirt pressed in time for a formal night on night two?

Yes. I always turn the one I wore the first formal evening in for washing and pressing and it has been returned at least the night before the second formal evening.

Talking about arriving and wanting it the next day. Is that possible?

Yes. Just mark the box on the laundry form for same day cleaning. Pick up needs to be before 9AM and it will be returned by 5PM. They also offer pressing only.

SOMEONE who shall remain nameless but is currently deployed spilled shrimp cocktail sauce all over his uniform shirt on the first formal night. we left it for the cabin steward the next morning and it was returned before lunch on the next formal night.

you can pay extra to have 24 hour service

to answer your question on getting your shirt back for the first formal night, I have always sent my shirts out on embark day and (knock on wood) have not missed first formal night yet. I have had a time or two it was cutting it close - but made it. I understand it's never a guarantee and you may hear different however I'll be going in a couple weeks and will be sending out the first night.. again. :)
