Canaletto on Formal Night

The evening dress codes are intended for the entire ship. That said, you will not be turned away from the Lido or the Canaletto if you are dressed casually on a formal night. In recent years, the codes have become very much relaxed.

That's a great question. I am sure someone smarter than me will answer but I would say probably not. Canaletto is in a corner of the Lido/Buffet type restaurant.

It seems to me that a smart casual attire would be appropriate on any night in Canaletto.

Here is the silly thing about HAL.

HAL requests formal/gala attire in public areas on those evenings. Yet dress code on those evenings in Lido and Canaletto is casual. So exactly how does one get from cabin to Lido/Canaletto on these nights.

The answer is casual. You will also see lots of casual in the casino on formal nights...as long as you don't mind the smoke and having your clothes reek of smoke the following day.
