sewut Posted July 31, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 31, 2015 I've heard of this coupon book that you can get on the ship for, I think, $25. It has coupons to use in port. I was wondering if anyone has one that they could scan and post. I'm sure others would be interested to see what exactly is included. I'm going on a 21 day Journey B2B cruise and am thinking, with 13 ports, it might be worth sitting through the shopping talk to get one.
LadyGal4 Posted July 31, 2015 #2 Share Posted July 31, 2015 Following. I've heard about it too, but I'm not a big shopper in cruise ports First Cruise - Carnival Dream 2011, 7 nights Eastern Carribean Carnival Fantasy - 10th Anniversary Cruise to Nassau/Freeport, 5 nights Carnival Liberty - 7 nights with the whole family. love my grandkids Posted July 31, 2015 #3 Share Posted July 31, 2015 Never heard of it thru over 25 cruises. Than again find the shop talk a collasal waste of time
Elaine5715 Posted August 1, 2015 #4 Share Posted August 1, 2015 The shopping booklets are very popular. If you are planning to purchase watches and jewelry, they might be beneficial. If you are looking for some souvenirs and t-shirts, I wouldn't bother. None of the "free" stuff is worth the hassle.
Carnival Cutie Posted August 1, 2015 #5 Share Posted August 1, 2015 I purchased one in January. Unfortunately I cannot scan any of the coupons for you as I do not have access to a scanner. I can tell you if you plan to visit multiple ports you may be interested in it. I thought it paid for itself because there were coupons for a free necklace at Diamonds International which they state is valued at $149 and a Del Sol tote bag, no purchase necessary. The book has designated coupons for stores such as Cariloha, Del Sol, Diamonds and Tanzanite International just to name a few. And they have coupons for all the Caribbean ports to stores which are exclusive to the ports they are in. I have two more cruises booked for this year, one in September to the Southern Caribbean and one in October to Nassau. I plan on taking my book with me. In addition to the above the book has coupons good for the Casino and the Art Auction. The only downside is the book is only good until the end of the year so if you plan to cruise next year and are interested in a book you'll have to purchase a new one. Good luck and I hope this information is helpful.
kona_wahine Posted August 1, 2015 #6 Share Posted August 1, 2015 I went to the shopping talk they give every cruise and sell the books. They make sure to tell you if you see, like it, then buy it. It may not be there later. I find much better things to do than run around port with a coupon book. Such as lie on a beautiful beach with a daquari. ;)
