Ripoff for PH and RS Bookings?

Before this silly (imho) BBB promo, those who booked the three biggest suites on a Celebrity ship, basically received an all inclusive cruise with their high priced suite. Now, under BBB, that no longer seems to be the case. We just did a faux booking for a PH and RS on Equinox for 2017, and discovered that with the BBB, the all inclusive aspect no longer exists unless you book the Best. Like I said, before this you just booked the suite, and got all the perks, but now, you choose BBB for even the biggest suites, and you pay the price difference. For example, if you book a PH for a 10 night Equinox cruise and you choose Big, you choose from the Classic Package (where before you automatically got the Premium), unlimited internet (again, that was included in the old fare package), OBC or gratuities. Those four choices were included in your fare before this lovely marketing insanity. For that cruise, using the Big, the fare is $18,998. If you go Best, where you get all the perks, the fare is $19,898. So, I'm wondering why the three big suites are no longer going to get the perks that they've given to passengers before the BBB fiasco?

So, I ask you, Celebrity, why were all the perks included for RS, PH and Reflection suites before this new fare program, but they aren't included now?

RS and PH already get premium beverages, so that's not needed. They already get unlimited internet, so that's not needed - there is no reason to go best in these suites. These perks are included in the lowest fare, even if booking senior or discounted fares, as part of the suite Perk program.

SO all that's missing is OBC and Gratuities - there were not part of Suite perks, though they were part of the all-in 123 when that was the promotion in place. So those aren't taken away from suites, they were taken away from everyone.

So take the standard Go BIG! for the $300 OBC or Grats for $16.45 x 2 = $32.90/day for cruises 10 days or more.

Then don't pay the extra for go bigger, since it costs more to buy than the perk.

It all works out.

As a usual, thank you for explaining the program CG...

Pretty much the same applies to Zenith level passengers. Okay, they don't get "unlimited" internet , but 1680 minutes works more than fine.

Celebrity has discontinued Sparkling Wine for Zeniths who book an Inside or OV cabin since they already get a Premium Package. Also have eliminated wine to the top cruising male, but thank goodness the female still gets lovely flowers. Don't know if the top cruising male gets a bottle if they are not Zenith. I love the program even with the changes that are really only duplications of what was offered. All about the bottom line.
