I just noticed on my cruise Docs for my upcoming cruise in January, that we have an enclosed Balcony. What are the advantages or disadvantages of an enclosed balcony compared to a regular balcony? I am afraid we will be disappointed. We are in room 8048. Anyone have an experience with the room or location?

We stayed in a cabin on the other side of the ship and forward of 8048. The balcony wasn't as windy and your view while sitting is a little bit limited by the hull but we enjoyed it. I would still prefer a regular balcony but wouldn't mind another one of these if the price was right.
