Latest information is that Clo begins on Anthem January 4th. There was a change of date from before the holidays to after the New Year. See post #2013

 

Any Prediction for Anthem June 22nd sailing? who will be the CD?

 

Well, Dru is the regular CD of Anthem. He will be on break from January 4 for 2 months. Then he will return early March for 4 months. Depending on how the actual dates fall, your sailing might be the last of his contract before he goes on break again. There is no way to predict who will be covering his next break, which should be July and August, but could begin a week earlier with your sailing.

Good for Clo, but bad for those of us going on Brilliance soon. She was excellent!

Clo? I haven't had the pleasure of sailing with her yet, but she consistently gets rave reviews here. In fact, I've never read one negative thing about Clo. Everyone seems to love sailing with her

She WAS my cruise director in 2005 on Explorer she very friendly,funny, and on Sea day she will go to the pool and chat with passengers and take photos and the first day of the cruise she will show a video off her little boy

She does walk a mile with Clo daily and when we were last with her (24 woman) one of the woman in our group is a belly dancing instructor for women over 50 and Clo asked her to teach a class it had about 100 people show up and was enjoyed by all. She made everything fun and the 70's party was a blast. We are going on the Brilliance again in January and are sad she will not be with us. This time I am going with 49 neighbors from our over 55 park. It will be fun fun fun

I have to totally agree, Clo was the best cruise director we have had in our many cruises with Royal Caribbean. She was the CD on a B2B we did on Brilliance.

Despite people who are incredulous that anyone would book a cruise because of the CD, I am seriously considering sailing on Anthem sometime in Jan or Feb when Clo is onboard.
