mame42 Posted August 21, 2015 Author #28 Share Posted August 21, 2015 Miraculously, yesterday I booked an excursion online. I did not change/update my browser, but now the website responds.
Rare cbr663 Posted August 21, 2015 #29 Share Posted August 21, 2015 HAL's website continues to make use of Adobe Flash software which is notorious for causing lots of problems. This is especially so if you use Apple products or have any privacy measures enabled on your browser. I have found that when I run into trouble with one browser, trying another browser can help. Anyone thinking of upgrading to Windows 10 should first research Windows 10 and privacy issues before upgrading. Win10 assigns a unique advertising ID to your email address and collects a lot of personal information from your computer usage. While many of us simply accept the terms and conditions of use when upgrading our software, you may wish to consider terms that contain: “We will access, disclose and preserve personal data, including your content (such as the content of your emails, other private communications or files in private folders), when we have a good faith belief that doing so is necessary to.”
