Just wanted to say thank you to CC and the information about Southwest and when they release their new fares. I booked flights for March 2016 (spring break) on August 11 when fares were released. Just checked prices today and they are $152 more per person. For a family of 4 that saved us over $600! Really appreciate the info that is shared here!

We use Southwest infrequently but when we do we too find that it is wise to book early. While on occasion a flight price can go down, more time than not, at least for us, the prices have gone up.

Southwest has a new sale out today. My departure flights are now $300 more pp:eek: (flying during Spring Break:p) but my return trip is down $24 pp-was only able to get 2 fares at that price but can't complain about $48 in my favor!
