San Juan snorkeling excursion after 4p

Hi, all. New to the boards and generally new to cruising. We're cruising on RC Independence later this month and getting into San Juan at 4p. RC advertises an excursion for Marine Park Snorkeling (SJA5); is this even worth it so late in the day?

That does sound like an odd time; I have heard of a nighttime snorkel, but would think they would advertise this as such if that's what it was.

 

I did see they also offer a bioluminescent tour. If you can swing that, I highly recommend it. Very very cool. :)

Time of day should not make much difference. The sun does not set until 6:45 - 7:00 and twilight lasts another hour. So snorkeling should be fine until past 6:30. While I prefer a direct sun overhead (better light under water) you should have enough light.
