dr__dawggy Posted August 26, 2015 #26 Share Posted August 26, 2015 This is the official site. The link is copied from the Embassy of Argentina website. The fee is US160. There is no additional processing fee. As others have noted, there are a number of private businesses that will pay the fee for you for an additional charge, but why go to the additional expense? https://reciprocidad.provincianet.com.ar/
Northern Aurora Posted August 26, 2015 #27 Share Posted August 26, 2015 Just a quick clarification: I have a typo in my post #25. We paid US$160 per person for our reciprocity fee.

petlover Posted August 29, 2015 #30 Share Posted August 29, 2015 (edited) We will be flying into Buenos Aires in January and spending 3 nights there prior to a Silver Seas Explorer trip to Antarctica. This is the information I received from my Travel Agent: Important Entry information for your upcoming cruise to Argentina To all our clients on an upcoming cruise to Argentina: Please email us back and let us know you received this email so we can be sure you are aware of these requirements. American, Canadian and Australian citizens traveling to Argentina are required to pay a reciprocity fee. The fee is required, regardless of embarking, debarking or transiting any port within Argentina. Current rates for the fee are American citizens $160 per person, Canadian citizens $75 per person and Australian citizens $100 per person. These rates are subject to change. The reciprocity fee is not covered by the cruise line. The Reciprocity receipt will be valid for 10 years and for multiple entries. Payments will NO LONGER be accepted upon arrival. Failure to pay the reciprocity fee online prior to departure will result in denied boarding at the departure point or denied entry into Argentina. Payments online will need to be made on the following website: https://reciprocidad.provincianet.com.ar/ Once paid, the receipt must be printed and presented to the Argentine immigration officers at the time of entry with your passport. Guests must set up an account to pay the reciprocity fee, if needed guests are able to log back into the site after purchasing the fee and reprint their receipt if needed. Other Visa-related Questions? Regulations for visas are constantly changing and it is important that you consult an expert in all questions related to vaccination and visa requirements to ensure up to date and accurate information. A lot of information is available on the web however it may not be current so be sure to contact an expert to ensure you have the most up-to-date and accurate information Edited August 29, 2015 by petlover
