Fog In May?? Galveston

Did a search but could not find info on fog specifically in May. Contemplating a late May trip out of Galveston found some threads that said spring has fog. Might be a silly question but would May fall into that? Increased chances? Thanks

May is summer here in Texas, and fog is very rare after March in my experience. Someone who lives near the bay may know otherwise.

Fog is associated with cold and hot temperatures of air and water . As other said May is a hot weather month without cold fronts.

We had fog in early April for a cruise, but I wouldn't think it would be a problem in May.

As mentioned, I would not expect fog.

You are far more likely to select winning lotto numbers on a $1 ticket than to be troubled by fog in May in Texas!!!! PLEASE do not worry about that one.
