  1. Thank you for all your responses. RobInMin, I was typing as you were responding the first time. Thanks for the info. She will be traveling with minor daughter (no phone). Her boarding time is much earlier than ours. I linked the reservations today and as mentioned by Biker19 I did a screen shots and sent them to her. All is good. Thanks for all the help.
  2. She has done on line checked in. Guess my question wasn't clear. Asking about check in at pier. Will she need to print documents or are there other methods? Hope this clears up my question. Thanks.
  3. Daughter has an older iPhone and is unable to download the app. so no check in when boarding. I am guessing the "old fashion way" of printed documents is what will need to be done. Am I correct with this? Any other options? Thanks
  4. Like others we have done this 4 day multiple times. Unlike others we would not recommend the Bison Tour. Even the guide acknowledged that sightings are becoming fewer and fewer. Just my 2 cents. La Bufadora is an ok trip. See it once and that is plenty. Have done it twice sailing with different family members. Once by bus and once private tour. Agree the bus trip does seem long. Private tour in van much better. Enjoy.
  5. Count us among the lucky. Two Royal Ups this past summer on two different ships and both got us the extra points. Not the norm but it seems ya never know what may happen.
  6. Happened to us. Same story about waiting to final payment. Cruise leaves June 9th. I called, TA called we were both told different things. I couldn't call had to be TA. TA called had to be me. One customer service rep was actually very rude continuously talked over me when I was trying to explain. Asked him to please stop talking over me and listen, with that he promptly hung up. Called back and was connected to resolutions. This guy tried to help. Put a priority on my request. Let him know about the hang up. Some OBC showed up on my reservation. Credit was applied with no notification to me or TA. Only found out when TA called to inquire status. Have applied the 125,000 3x in the past and never had this happen.
  7. Seems to me that roll call threads have taken a real nose dive in people posting on them. Have 11 cruises booked only 4 with roll calls. Three of them with 5 or less posts. Not sure why but maybe because meet and mingles are gone?
  8. Have canceled onboard the day of. Probably not the norm and would not suggest it. Really weren't expecting the refund to show up on our account but it did. May have been a waiting list and they filled the slots?
  9. Our blocks sat in the original boxes in a closet until we realized the eBay route. Have sold every block there along with all kinds of Royal stuff that used to be given out. Anyone remember the shot glasses at dinner? Sold. Collecting just not something we do. The only thing we have kept is 2 of the toiletry bags. Still using them. We now opt for the 3 bottles of wine as our amenity.

  11. Received double points with Royal Up this past summer. Not expecting them but they did show up. Certainly not the norm. Cross your fingers.

  14. Agree... Kronos is one of the best house bands we have ever seen on a Royal ship. Lead guitar player is amazing. Would be nice if they played in a bigger venue. Boleros was jam packed every night they were there. No insight on MDR, don't use it. Windjammer ok for dinner, excellent service. Playmakers pretty good pub food.

  17. Covers cost of the minimum available priced ocean view cabin up to $1000. If the cabin cost is less, then that is what is covered. If the cost is more, then you pay the difference. If you chose a higher category cabin it covers up to the cost of the minimum available priced OV you pay the difference. Have always booked a higher category when redeeming points. Used to be you would not get points/credit if you paid $0. Not sure if still that way. A whole lot of years ago had that 1 time and reservation agent added $$ to invoice so points were awarded.
  18. Quick question. When looking at the MDR menu options on the app. I do not see a night where lobster does not have a charge. My guess app not accurate. Can anyone advise which night it is on 7 night? Thanks. Sorry for hijacking.
  19. Thank you for the responses I appreciate your replies. Not looking for pricing for glass bottom boats have done the glass bottom boat a couple of times. I guess maybe my question was not specific or clear enough. Looking for pricing on the "all glass boat" tour. I do know that the "all glass boats" are not located in the same area as the regular glass bottom boats. Again, thanks for your responses.
  20. Tried searching but no luck. Found plenty of on line vendors for the all glass boat tours to Los Arcos but curious if anyone has done a walk up and what the pricing was. Not 100% sure that is what family members want to do. Would be better to wait. Thanks.

  22. We must have been lucky and hit a flaw somewhere. This past summer Royal Ups from balcony to suite (Owners) double points. Will say it was not expected after reading many threads about it.
  23. I knew someone would post that. Well aware of ship's PCs. As I stated no need as the 4 and only 4 devices being brought onto the ship provide access to everything that would require access.
  24. Pretty tough to do when there will only be 4 devices and they provide anything that may be needed or wanted. Thanks
