tomml Posted August 23, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 23, 2015 We are a wedding party of 24-30 arriving mid October on the Emerald Princess. We would like to book a charter for 4-6 hours. Can anyone give us some guidance on where to look for the best value?
blue_water Posted August 24, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 24, 2015 (edited) Most daysails have a max of 6 passengers so you'll want to split up or look at the New Horizons which is a 65' sloop that holds up to 20 people. Moors in a couple cays off STJ and Great St James and offers a fabulous lunch and is very reasonably priced. http://newhorizons.daysails.com That's a very large group for an excursion anywhere... O2B@Cagain Posted August 24, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 24, 2015 There are several catamarans that can handle a big crowd. You might check Day Dreamer or Heavenly Days.
blue_water Posted August 24, 2015 #4 Share Posted August 24, 2015 There are several catamarans that can handle a big crowd. You might check Day Dreamer or Heavenly Days. Daydramer goes to Jost but smaller Coconuts heads to STJ. 24 - 30 is a crowd in itself!

blue_water Posted August 24, 2015 #6 Share Posted August 24, 2015 tomml one note, you're not looking any too soon as you're probably going to need an entire boat or two just to accommodate your group and data we know that cater to the cruise lines are probably filling up by now. but the majority are on vinow dot com under day charters if you want to just go through the list. Looks like you're also hitting St Maarten? If so consider a nice beach/Paradise Point day on St Thomas, and look at the Golden Eagle on SXM. Great daysail, nice cat, wonderful lunch and the best crews! We booked a private full day sail and it was amazing...their half-day is just as nice! http://www.sailingsxm.com Good luck! Daydreamer is very popular and fills up quickly we found out
