Apple TV

Does anyone know if Apple TV works on any ships?

The only ships that would possibly support streaming video would be Oasis and Quantum class.

You would still have to pay for WiFi if it worked . It definitely won't be free to use.

We did Facetime on Oasis in March so I doubt that takes anymore bandwidth than Apple TV. I suspect you would have to be on one of the ships with the new internet set up.

As for the HDMI jacks being disabled, it's not the jacks that are disabled it's the remote won't allow you to access them. On a recent cruise my grandson wanted to play Xbox. They took a universal remote, looked up the code for the TV and viola! access to the other inputs.

I also have an adapter for my Ipad that outputs to HDMI. So I can plug in to any HDMI input and use the TV to watch whatever is on my Ipad. It works great to show photographs when I can't mirror to my Apple TV box.
