Rare Presto2 Posted August 29, 2015 #26 Share Posted August 29, 2015 I would agree, I had forgotten the discount, but then this only applies once you have used up your 'on board credit' - getting very technical now! Suppose so, but even without the discount it doesn't seem a lot. We've been on cruise lines where a 70cl bottle of water was about £3.50 if you include the 15% gratuity we had to pay 3 yrs ago, and we couldn't order any for the cabin as you can on P&O. Fair enough it was Evian, but we just wanted bottled water, nothing too expensive, and there was no choice. To be honest, we used to bring on about 6 bottles when we had been on shore excursion and saved a fortune. PS It doesn't take us long to use up the on board credit I am sad to say :D

Rare Presto2 Posted August 29, 2015 #28 Share Posted August 29, 2015 Ha ha, that's what we sometimes do. Buy a large bottle ashore for about 30p!! At Kusadasi on Celebrity we picked up 6 x 1.5 litres bottles for 1 euro each. We couldn't take wine on but took advantage of taking the water on board as the price of the water on the ship was so steep ;)
