Teemoi Posted August 26, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 26, 2015 Hi, I'm sailing on the Independence in September. It's my first cruise with Royal Caribbean:D ! Can anyone tell me what times the hot tubs on the ship open and close? Also, I'm especially interested in the two hot tubs in the Solarium. Is it crowded often? When are they least crowded? Any help in this area would be much appreciated! T

Bubbis3 Posted August 26, 2015 #6 Share Posted August 26, 2015 I found the best times to use the hot tubs in the solarium are when the ship is in a port of call. That will be when the least amount of people will be using them. Bob
Firefighterhoop Posted August 27, 2015 #7 Share Posted August 27, 2015 To pretty much echo what everyone else has said: 1) They are very quiet in the evening, especially during dinner and shows. Sometimes they start to get busy again during the late evening (after 9-10pm) because usually half are closed for cleaning, but not overly crowded. 2) Again, they start closing half mid evening for cleaning, but half are always open. 3) During port days the entire pool area is usually a quiet place until mid afternoon. It is actually a nice way to spend a day compared to how busy the ports can be! 4) Sea days mid morning through late afternoon they are busy.. but if you are a morning person before 10/11 am, they are usually pretty open as well. Have a fun trip!!!!

north29 Posted August 27, 2015 #9 Share Posted August 27, 2015 Human Soup! ;) That is how I see them. LOL However I have used them regardless and I'm sure they are overly cleaned and sanitized.

Even 8am would be great :)

Even 8am would be great :) There is normally at least 1 hot tub open 24 hours a day, they clean them in rotation, so they can leave 1 open
