Princess cruise to alaska

We have not been on this particular cruise but have sailed twice from Whiitier to Vancouver and absolutely loved it. The scenery & the wildlife - both from the ship & the ports were amazing. We have not visited Tracy Arm but Glacier Bay was absolutely stunning. We have booked to go again next May - this time a round trip from Vancouver. This cruise visits Sitka instead of Slagway so will be a new experience for us. Alaska is my favourite holiday destination - worth the long flight(s) from the UK.

We did the southbound "Voyage of the Glaciers" in July. Grand is definitely an older ship and shows signs of wear and tear, but on the plus side it was the most happy, caring crew we'd ever had the pleasure of meeting. With Alaska being all about the scenery and ports and not about staying in the cabin, we didn't mind things like a few tiles missing in the bath, some cosmetic damage to the slider and so on. There weren't that many negatives and a lot of positives - it was a great cruise. The itinerary is fabulous. We'd do it again in a heartbeat.
