benefits of paying in full early

When I was assured we would be eligible for lower price after having paid early, we were not assured they would look for the lower fare. He might have identified it but like always, it is up to the cruiser to find and request the reduction.

 

If you use a TA, perhaps they would make the effort to hunt down discounts for the period of time while you were away sailing?

Has HAL discontinued the early payment discount on Grand Voyages? It used to be only 3%, but even that is better than what a pass book or money management account pays nowadays ...

 

We booked a Grand Voyage on the Prinsendam for March, 2016 and received a 3% discount by paying in full early (9 months).
