Dining request

We have made a specific dining request-if I were to call Disney could they tell me if this request was met? If so, how close to sailing before I could know?

You won't know for sure until you check in at the port. It's printed on your KTTW card.

 

If you are Concierge, it's very likely that you got what you asked for.

 

If you are not Concierge, it possible that you got it (DCL does their best to accommodate all requests). But it's possible that you didn't get it, also.

 

If, once you check in, you don't have the rotation (is that what you requested?) you want, check the Navigator you receive at check in for where dining changes are being handled and go there to request again.

We typically request to be seated with a particular CM...(in their section). So we do exactly what Shmoo suggested. After boarding, we go to "Dining Changes" at the location listed on the Welcome Aboard Navigator and ask whether we got our request. If not, we ask if we can be moved to that section. It hasn't failed us yet except when that CM is not on board, and then we can negotiate based on who is available.
