sarclar Posted September 8, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 8, 2015 On the Sky, is the bed or the couch by the balcony door?
reney313 Posted September 8, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 8, 2015 I'm not sure if all the balconies are the same or not, but our "couch" (really an oversized chair) was next to the balcony the last time I sailed on the Sky.
Demonyte Posted September 9, 2015 #3 Share Posted September 9, 2015 On older ships the cabins are the same, sofa by the balcony. It's only the new megaships that have the alternating cabin layouts.
Rare BirdTravels Posted October 1, 2015 #4 Share Posted October 1, 2015 The love seat is next to the balcony.
J&R-Chicago Posted October 1, 2015 #5 Share Posted October 1, 2015 Couch, sofa, love seat, big chair, holy cow there's a lot of furniture in those staterooms !!!! :) :D
Rare BirdTravels Posted October 1, 2015 #6 Share Posted October 1, 2015 Actually, the cabins on the Sky are kinda tiny (compared to other ships). Take a step in either direction and you are on the balcony or in the hall! :D

marciemi Posted October 2, 2015 #8 Share Posted October 2, 2015 Just off the Sky Monday and the sofa is definitely by the balcony, but the direction of the rooms alternate from one to the next (so in some cabins the head of the bed would be towards the front of the ship and in the rooms next door the feet would be). aztekpm Posted October 2, 2015 #9 Share Posted October 2, 2015 We sailed 2 weeks ago - 3 on our girls trip, with the bed split to twins and the couch out it was TIGHT. We survived but put the couch down each day and our steward put the chair for the desk on the balcony!
niborHS Posted October 2, 2015 #10 Share Posted October 2, 2015 Inside cabins are either 121 or 147. The smaller ones don't even have that big chair, love seat, or whatever you want to call it. I am going on a 3 night and will be in the cabin myself, so think I can manage. My joke with my TA was that if I took the smaller one it would be about the size of the bathroom in the Owner's Suite we were in the first year this ship sailed.
