currency used in casino

What currency is used in the casino. Do we use cash or swipe our on board cruise car?

I did a 5 day cruise in Scandinavia on the Jade in 2009. The casino was primarily set up for US $, but there were 2 BJ tables & 1 roulette table that used euros (they used chips from a different cruise line to differentiate).

Very few people played at the euro tables, even though they had several advantages for the players. The roulette was a European wheel, with only the single zero. And the BJ tables used a standard 6-deck shoe, instead of the constant shuffling machines at the US$ tables.

We have 350.00 OBC on our account - some of it was a promo - some given as compensation for a mistake on our original booking.

Can I get any of this in cash from my card to use in the casino or must it all be spent elsewhere. We already have free speciality dining, free UBP and have booked and paid for our excursions and spa passes.

If we can`t convert any of the OBC into cash for the casino, we might have a hard time spending the OBC. Not really interested in art, souvenirs or photos.
