Excitedtotrycruising Posted September 20, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 20, 2015 Hi everyone We're on the one night Escape to Nowhere next month, as a 'taster' to see if we would enjoy a cruising experience. Can any of the ladies confirm if we are allowed to take heated rollers with us on a cruise ship? I understand you can take hair straighteners but as heated rollers are larger I'm not sure if they'd be classed as a fire hazard on a ship. Many thanks
Homosassa Posted September 20, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 20, 2015 I have never had a problem taking heated rollers on any of my cruises on any cruise line (including NCL).

navybankerteacher Posted September 21, 2015 #5 Share Posted September 21, 2015 Not an expert, but don't heated rollers take a fair amount of time to heat up, and then a fair amount of time in your hair to do their work? That seems to be a way of spending a lot of the very limited time on a one night cruise to nowhere -
Excitedtotrycruising Posted September 21, 2015 Author #6 Share Posted September 21, 2015 Not an expert, but don't heated rollers take a fair amount of time to heat up, and then a fair amount of time in your hair to do their work? That seems to be a way of spending a lot of the very limited time on a one night cruise to nowhere - I don't plan on doing much sleeping and you can do and see a lot in 24 hrs. Anyway, I like to get dressed up to go to dinner - 3 mins for the rollers to heat up, and as an expert who's been doing this for years it will take me less than 3 mins to put in. While they are 'doing their work' I will be putting on my make up, listening to some music and enjoying a glass of wine ..... The limited amount of time it will take to make the effort to look great and feel great will be well worth it!! But hey, thanks for your thoughts. I'm assuming you're not female.
