I'm kind of jealous of these photos with blue sky. I live in the southeastern US. We haven't seen blue skies in over two weeks and have accumulated ~14" of rain in that time.

 

Hope the weather improves by the time I get to NC in 10 days!

I took this picture a couple of weeks ago.

DH thought that one of our critters had planted a kernel of corn and we had a corn stalk because of the tassel on top.

 

 

But it turned out to be just one long, nearly 4 foot blade of grass.

It's supposed to be sunny/partly sunny, lows in the 50s, highs in the 70s. Perfect fall weather.

Week 39 found us sitting in the dining room on the Serenade of the Seas enjoying the scenery. Waited a long time for this trip.

went fishing in Carolina Beach and caught a stingray but not much else! Weather was great!
