Prinsendam Cabins

Booked a 14 day cruise on the Prinsendam in a Signature suite yet still considering going down to a Vista cabin for a lot less money. It appears that the only difference is the size with the configuration about the same and since it is a port intensive cruise, would it make much difference? I would appreciate your comments.

The Vista suite is about 100 sq ft smaller. The Signature suite has a curved sofa, more storage, larger balcony and the toilet with separate sink is in a small room rather than in the main bath area. There are some extra perks in a Signature. Both are very nice and for a port intensive cruise, I personally would book a Vista especially if the savings will let me cruise again or sooner. Only you can decide based on how much time you expect to be in your cabin and what is important to you.

You might google "HAL cabin photos and info" and look for a site we can't mention by name here but has the word "facts" in it. There are lots of cabin photos and comments gathered there.

defintiely take a look at the two categories and the cabin photos.

 

The Suites - Signature and above on this ship are very nice.

 

Whether they are worth it or not is an individual decision, but there is a big difference between the Signature and the Vista IMO.

I agree...on port-intensive cruises, we tend to go for cheaper cabins...on the long, many-sea-days trips, we splurge on the larger.

I appreciated your replies and I went ahead and downsized to the vista cabin saving enough money to pay for a lot of shore excursions. My benefits stayed the same so I only lost square footage.
