Platinum question

This may have been addressed before but I can't find the thread. I will reach Platinum status during my next cruise. Will I have platinum benefits for that cruise or for the following cruises?

If you reach Platinum status during a cruise, you will be Platinum on that cruise.

If you reach Platinum during the cruise you should have Platinum status for that cruise. That's how it worked for me anyhow.

If you reach Platinum during your next cruise, you will be Platinum for the entire cruise, when you print your luggage tags it will say so. Congrats

Yes you will be Platinum. I have the same thing happening on my next cruise and confirmed with my PVP. It also shows on my boarding pass & tags. Yay! Finally!!

That is how it works on Princess but for Carnival it is the cruise you reach 75 days on.

I will reach platinum on the second cruise of my upcoming back to back. They made the first cruise platinum also.

Me too, I'll become platnum on my upcoming cruise Nov 29 on the Magic even my boarding pass says so!! I know one thing I will never achive diamond because I will die way before because of old age so might as well enjoy platnum while I can!!

This is incorrect...If you reach 75 days somewhere in your cruise, you will start the cruise as Platinum.
