Couple of embarkation questions

1) Are you limited to the number of checked bags at the pier? I would only be checking 3 maximum.

 

2) I know this has been asked and answered before. But, now that another line (Carnival?) is strictly enforcing boarding times, do you know if RCI is enforcing the boarding time on the cruise tickets or can you board earlier (my earliest boarding time is listed as 12:30, but was hoping to get on earlier).

There is no limit on bags...they do post a 200LB limit...PER PERSON....I can't imagine ANYONE needing 200 lbs !!!!

No...Boarding times are not enforced....those "in the know" get there around 11-11:30 am.

So far, Royal is not enforcing boarding times on US departures. However, people have reported enforced boarding times on Australian departures.

Thanks! I am hoping they don't enforce times, but I'll keep my eyes peeled for any "changes" in that. I'd like to get on earlier -- last year on Celebrity we did get on earlier than they told us without any issue. And no way we will be bringing 200 lbs per person - or 200 lbs total! I couldn't manage the luggage if it were that heavy! :-) Or the baggage fees at the airport for that matter!
