Any recent CAS cruisers with extra people in their room?

I just spoke with CAS and there seems to be more confusion. The "head honcho" who I have been dealing with is no longer in his position. I am not sure if he was moved around or let go, I could not get a straight answer so I think it may be the latter. Anyway, has anyone recently booked a room with more than two? If so, are they getting the drink cards for the casino? I was told that the practice of drink cards for others has been done away with at least a year ago. In February we were in a 2 bedroom and the 3rd and 4th got cards. Anyway we have a 2 bedroom in March and again we have a 3rd and 4th with us. I will get them the UDP if need be, but if the cards are provided I won't. Thanks for any help.

I was thinking maybe they got them(drink cards) for the March cruise because I added the 3rd and 4th a week or so before we left, so maybe they really did stop giving them out.

If need be, I will buy them on the ship. That way I may be able to get the packages comped or at least discounted at the end.

Thanks

Just remember you'll have to purchase the UBP for all guests in the cabin, not just the 3rd and 4th. Even if you have the casino drink cards for guest 1 and 2.

We already have the UBP for 1 and 2. Funny you said that because when I was talking to CAS they told me that because we have the UBP for the first 2 that say if the 3rd wanted it but not the 4th than that would be OK. I guess CNL figures well at least 3 of the 4 have it.

I was on the breakaway September 20th booked via CAS and all 4 of us in the cabin received the drink cards. However the UBP was still vital for all of us because we went to the pool a bunch as well as Spice H20 for every party and the Jazz Club etc. it would have been a pain if every time the 3rd and/or 4th passenger wanted a drink they would have had to go to the casino.

On the phone, we were told by the CAS representative to expect 2 drink cards in the room but when we arrived to the ship, we had 4. Supposedly, it has to do with the casino hosts on board and how many casino guests are sailing. If the numbers are low and/or the host is in a good mood, they may be more liberal in providing drink cards.

Yes, No more Charles. I always got a straight answer from him the first time. He was fair with me. He did not give the house away, but seemed to make up for others mistakes.

He was always great to us as well, sad to hear he's gone...I remember seeing from a past post that you were on the Golf outing cruise on the Breakaway?, so were we :)....
