Hair straighteners?

Getting very excited now for our upcoming first ever cruise departing on Friday!!! The long countdown is nearly over :D

 

Starting to think about packing and I was wondering if I am allowed to take my hair straighteners? Not sure if I imagined it, but I thought I read somewhere on here that they aren't allowed - is this correct, or did I dream it :confused:

On all our cruises have always taken hair straightners, curling irons, never had trouble.

 

One time years ago, got my luggage inspected at the airport because my electric rollers looked suspicious in my carryon (???bomb???)

 

Oh well those stay home now.

Some folks confuse the word "iron" (meaning clothing iron, which isn't allowed) with any kind of hair appliance....curling, flattening, straightening, etc....any and all hair appliances ARE totally allowed!

It would not be pretty for me, I would have to book a Halloween cruise and go as Medusula :eek:
