Travel agent booking vs cruise show

I was wondering if its best to book a cruise at the travel agent, cruise show or directly with the company. thanks:)

I personally prefer to use a travel agent.

At the cruise shows I've been to, there are TAs present to book with, as it's usually an agency that's sponsoring the show.

If it's your first cruise and you're feeling uncomfortable,,,, find a good TA to help you out.

After that, drop the TA, give yourself the control, and DIY.

Overseas...use a travel agent, flights , transportation, hotels and correct paper work all.taken care of.....leaving from USA or book through cruise line or TA.

Hi Kas,

 

We have used both to book cruises, sometimes it's better at a show then other times through a travel agent.

 

We have found the bigger shows better than smaller local ones, the one at the NEC in Birmingham is quite good as you get most of the cruise lines there.

 

If you go to a show research the cruises you are interested in and ask them at the show if they can beat that price, even if it's free parking or OBC.
